Amina in the Air Earrings - Silver

Launches 9am Friday the 19th September

Amina in the Air - All profits to Médecins Sans Frontières

I’m proud to introduce Amina in the Air, a limited edition earring to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières Australia and encourage people to speak up about the genocide in Gaza at the hands of Israel. Amina swings from a watermelon and wears a keffiyeh, symbols of pride, resistance and hope for the Palestinian people. You can learn more about these earrings from a video shared on my instagram here.

Like my previous earrings, Amina is crafted from environmentally-conscious stainless steel, and finished in your choice of 14k gold or sleek silver. Each pair is beautifully presented in a custom House of Whitty jewellery box. They also include a limited edition tiny print of Amina, using metallic foil on heavy stock. Those who purchase will discover a poem I've written on the back.

Amina in the Air is a limited edition release, with just 100 pairs in gold, and 100 in silver. All are meticulously produced in collaboration with a jeweller in New York, and every detail is considered to ensure the materials and craftsmanship are of the highest quality, creating something that will look and feel premium for the life of the metal. I’m thinking heirloom, never landfill.

Unlike softer metals, stainless steel is resistant to scratches and tarnishing, so these earrings will retain their striking beauty with minimal maintenance. Hypoallergenic and environmentally conscious, they’re a thoughtful choice for those with sensitive skin, as well as anyone who values sustainability.

All packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials, reflecting my commitment to a greener planet. Your earrings will arrive carefully protected, fully insured, and, for a limited time, with FREE shipping across Australia.

A QUICK THANK YOU

At each stage of the production of these earrings (design, manufacturing, printing, packaging, photography and marketing), I have sought a commitment from those involved to reduce costs where possible. In several instances, such as the photography by Stu Morley and marketing by From Little Things), entire fees worth thousands of dollars were waived, meaning an extraordinary percentage of what you pay for these earrings will go directly to Médecins Sans Frontières Australia. I want to thank them for their donation, and everyone else who has shared this project on their social media or with their friends and family. If you can't quite afford these earrings at this time, you can instead make a donation to Médecins Sans Frontières Australia here.

Lastly, if you're here, you're curious about this cause. You may have felt uncomfortable, not educated enough, or too scared to speak out about the genocide in Gaza up until now. I encourage you to change that today, to speak with your friends, family and followers about what is happening to the people of Palestine and to write to your leaders to voice your outrage. Silence helps no one.

Peace.

Tom
