Amina in the Air Necklace
A special edition piece created to fund aid in Gaza. $25 from every necklace goes to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
Amina swings from a watermelon and wears a keffiyeh; symbols of pride, resistance and hope for the Palestinian people. She debuted as an earring, now sold out, which raised $50,000 for aid in Gaza ($20,000 to Médecins Sans Frontières Australia, $20,000 to PCRF US, $10,000 to PCRF Australia). Those earrings were worn by Ms Rachel to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards and featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair.
Details
- Available with a 45cm or 55cm chain (the female model wears 45cm, the male model 55cm)
- Crafted from environmentally conscious stainless steel; scratch and tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic, made to last. I’m thinking heirloom, never landfill.
- The first 25 orders include a luxury-grade Amina in the Air temporary tattoo, designed to look realistic, last up to a week and provide another way to show your solidarity.
Presentation
Arrives in a custom House of Whitty jewellery box with a small matte metallic foil print of Amina on recycled black stock. Turn it over to find a poem I’ve written on the back. All packaging is recycled and recyclable, and every order ships fully insured.
My hope is that this necklace starts conversations that might not otherwise happen about the ongoing genocide in Gaza at the hands of Israel.
Free Palestine.
Peace,
Tom xx
