Created in response to the destruction and eventual removal of Adam Stone’s wonderfully controversial Fallen Fruit sculpture, I threw this piece up on the ugly yellow pot that now sits at the original site of Stone’s sculpture. I called it Raised Fruit and you can watch a video of its creation and installation here. In its framed form, I changed the title to Low Hanging Fruit.
There will only ever be 5 original sprays of this 10-layer stencil painting. Each is a signed and numbered, hand-cut and hand-sprayed painting on archival quality, acid-free, 224gsm paper. As such, each piece is unique, with its own individual (im)perfections. The lightly grained textured paper is made in France and approximately measures 59cm x 84cm (A1). It is sold unframed and is shipped rolled in a tube.
