Tom: I’m excited to announce this stunning special edition of my screen print, Grace Tame Swinging Side-Eyes.

I created the work to show solidarity with and support to former Australian of the Year, Grace Tame. Grace has lost most of her speaking appearance work in 2026 after consistently criticising the ongoing genocide in Gaza and calling for a global resistance to Israel’s occupation of Palestine.

The central image of this work references the iconic moment Grace gave side-eye to former Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, on her final day as Australian of the Year. To many, it was funny, maybe rude, certainly unusual. To me, it signified something far greater. The image showed a fearless woman willing to show her contempt for a man she felt had failed her nation. There is also a David and Goliath element to it; a refusal to accept the power imbalance. And it’s just punk as hell. Grace lives her truth, and while many have tried to quieten that truth, she continues to raise her voice for vulnerable people. I say let her speak!

This stunning two-colour special addition acrylic screen print is limited to an edition of just 10. Each layer was hand-pulled across acid-free 250gsm warm archival paper. The work measures 50cm x 70cm and is sold unframed and shipped carefully rolled in a tube, with full insurance.

I hope this work finds a place on your wall, starts conversations that might not otherwise have occurred, and reminds you as you pass by it each day to speak bravely, even when others attempt to police what you can and can’t say.
